Reintroducing Leather
For Fall Winter 26, côte&ciel reintroduces leather as a defining material within the collection, bringing renewed attention to its weight, tactility and sense of permanence. Alongside established leather silhouettes, the collection introduces Burgundy Alias Leather and new combinations of leather with Anthracite Tweed.
Alias is a supple cowhide leather, tanned using natural acids derived from oak, walnut and acorn. The process creates a rich, nuanced finish with subtle variations across the surface, allowing each piece to develop its own character.

Across FW26, leather moves between primary construction and more precise details, appearing alongside the soft, wool-like surface of Anthracite Tweed. The contrast brings definition to the textile, while giving the leather a more tactile and unexpected character.
