LA FORME
Introducing LA FORME, our latest editorial captured in Paris — a study of the forms, gestures, and creative forces that continue to shape côte&ciel. Set between the city and our atelier, the series reflects on how ideas become objects, and how those objects move back into the world through the hands of the people who carry them.
At the centre of the story are three Paris-based creatives whose practices help define the city’s cultural rhythm:
At the centre of the story are three Paris-based creatives whose practices help define the city’s cultural rhythm:
Fatou Diagna
- A poet, DJ, and creative force, Fatou Diagne, also known as, LIBERTANGO, brings a distinct rhythm to LA FORME .Her presence in the editorial moves between softness and intention — echoing the spirit of her practice, where sound, emotion, and community intertwine.
Francis Essoua
- brings a quiet, contemplative intensity to LA FORME, echoing the editorial’s central theme: how ideas, hands, and gestures shape the objects we carry. His creative practice spans movement, colour, and narrative — a layered perspective that informs his presence in the series, grounding the bags within a wider visual dialogue.Erwan Fillidori
- A Paris based photographer, embodies the quiet observational energy that sits at the core of the project. A multidisciplinary creative moving fluidly between image-making, modelling, and styling, Erwan brings a precise, instinctive presence to the series — a dialogue between form, movement, and the city that shaped it.
Each brings a distinct perspective, echoing the curiosity and experimentation embedded in côte&ciel’s design approach.
The editorial also turns inward to the atelier — the place where our iconic silhouettes first took form. Early mock-ups, tools marked by repetition, and components shaped by trial and adjustment act as quiet traces of process. These details form a dialogue with the creatives themselves, connecting the physical making of our bags with the cultural shaping that happens beyond the studio.
LA FORME is both a look back at our design lineage and a glimpse into the forces guiding what comes next.
