Soft Sculptures - Paris Fashion Week 2025

With the recent Women's fashion week coming to a close, we wanted to take a look back on our Men’s Paris Fashion Week exclusive event. To mark this special week, we unveiled an evocative art installation, created in collaboration with Milan-based architect Alberto Simoni of aspro.studio, titled Soft Sculptures.
Soft Sculptures is a study in contrast—a tactile dialogue between solidity and fluidity, structure and malleability. Blocks of soft foam are sculpted to house the negative space of côte&ciel bags, seamlessly integrating the bags themselves within the composition. At first glance, the sculptures appear rigid, yet upon touch, the material yields with an unexpected softness—a striking parallel to the very essence of côte&ciel bags, where form meets function in a conversation of adaptability.

Through this installation, the project explores an evocative sense of nostalgia through the interplay of form and fluidity, offering a poetic reinterpretation of côte&ciel’s products. By embodying the bags’ defining characteristics within the sculptures, the installation presents them in an almost ethereal absence—where their presence is felt without ever being physically there.
Comprising over 30 sculpted foam blocks, the installation forms a column of yielding material, subtly supported by a wooden framework. Without the soft foam’s presence, the structure would sway, its instability highlighting the interplay between soft and solid, tension and balance. This movement echoes the essence of côte&ciel’s designs—fluid yet structured, tactile yet architectural.

The Soft Sculptures event was welcomed by guests of Fashion Week to see the exclusive art installation in person, where our bags are set into giant blocks of foam, rigid in aesthetic but soft to the touch: a mirror of the côte&ciel design language.
Alongside the installation, an editorial was captured by Milan-based Photographer and Movement/Art Director Gabriele Rosati, which be will be revealed on the launch of FW25.
